Since the age of 6, Scotty has been a world-class studio musician on fiddle, guitar, and banjo. He released his first vinyl record “HERE I COME WORLD” and went on to perform with his band at nightclubs and fairs throughout his teenage years.
Scotty performed with Mickey Gilley several times at the original Gilley’s in Pasadena, Texas. In 1994, Scotty moved to Las Vegas to co-host an award-winning production show called “Country Tonight.” From 1999 until 2007 he worked for Wayne Newton as a guitarist, fiddle player, banjo player and mandolinist on stage before becoming Mr Newton’s music director.
Scotty and his wife Lisa were given the opportunity to headline their own show in Las Vegas for several years before relocating their family to Nashville. Once there, Scotty was signed by Ray Hamilton at Merf Publishing as a writer/artist and worked with Brian David Willis as a ProTools editor on projects for artists such as Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, and Carly Pearce.
From 2013-14 he served as music director for Hollywood recording artist Lucy Hale who made appearances on Ellen, Good Morning America, Kelly and Michael and the Grand Ole Opry.
