Nigerian musician and performer Olistar, the moniker of Olisa Franklin Emodi, has had an incredible 2022 beginning with the release of his second EP ‘The Return of Olistar’. Garnering a committed following in the drill community in Nigeria, Olistar visited the UK to get first-hand experience and knowledge of the ever-growing UK drill music scene and culture. Now based in Lagos, Olistar’s lyrics draw from his personal and life experiences growing up in Onitsha, Anambra State naming the likes of Stormzy, Burna Boy, Wizkid & Central Cee as his current influences.
