There was a true-crime docuseries “An Unexpected Killer” that featured an episode on the case of late TV producer Veronica Bozza, She was born on March 31, 1971, in Milan and was found shot dead in her Tennessee home in 2010. While her soon-to-be-ex-husband was initially suspected, detectives later questioned other suspects and an unexpected break in the case revealed the truth about what happened to Bozza.
One of Veronica’s colleagues, Kendall Bard, described her as “a gentle soul with a huge heart.” “Whenever she saw you, she would just sweep you off of your feet and give you this huge hug — like squeeze you,” Bard recalled. “She gave the best hugs. She really took care of her crew.”
There was a hideous custody battle apparently between Veronica and her estranged husband.
She was apparently a thriving TV producer and a doting mother to a nine-year-old.

Brian Robinson was on the scene and she seemed to be thriving at work. However, on Aug. 29, 2010, Bozza and her 9-year-old son attended Mass at St. Edward’s Catholic Church. Records show that she met her estranged husband Timothy outside the church to exchange custody of their son.
Bozza, whilst at home spoke to Robinson and he said he was going to come over to the house. However, when he arrived, Bozza was already dead and she had two gunshot wounds to the head, as well as one on the right shoulder and mid-back. Abrasions were also found on her body.
With the divorce pending between the pair, they were under a court order to maintain a $350,000 life insurance policy with the other spouse listed as the beneficiary. Bozza was “financially successful,” and Timothy Bozza was said to be having issues.
Only 3 days later, after Bozza’s death, Timothy filed a claim. Coy Cotham and Timothy Bozza were later convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Veronica’s life was drastically cut short and it was one of such potential. It was such a bleak and undeserved end to the music producer’s life. Her credits show what talent she did have in the industry and I’m sure she would have succeeded much further if she was still alive today.
